Congrats to the Pointer tennis team on their State Runner-Up finish in the 5A State Tourney at Rebsamen Tennis Center. Seth Dunn won his first two matches to make it to the semifinals where he faced the State Champion from Pulaski Academy and came up short. He went on to face conference foe from Russellville and defeated him 8-0 to take 3rd place.
The doubles team of Josh Adair and Eli Adams also reached the semifinals and lost to State Champion Pulaski Academy. They finished 4th overall.
The State Runner-Up finish is the 1st in Van Buren tennis history!
