The Van Buren Pointers won the last time they faced Mountain Home on the road and dominated at home on Friday by a final score of 62-43.
The Pointers opened up with a 11-1 run to start the game and finished the first quarter up 13-4. It never got closer as Van Buren kept answering every Bomber rally.

The Pointers are on a roll lately winning three of their last four as they make a run at a 3rd consecutive state tournament appearance. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games.
Looking ahead, Van Buren will venture away from home to face off against Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on February 21st. Harrison has scored at least 55 points in their last eight games and are currently sitting at the top of the 5A West Conference standings at 10-1.
