On Friday October 17th, 2025 the Van Buren Pointers took on the Southside Mavericks at Blakemore Field. It was a 10-10 tie game late in the 4th Quarter. Van Buren had a go ahead touch down with 36 seconds left in the game. The Pointers held on to win 17-10 now on schedule to host a playoff game. Great job Bird Dogs!
