The Lady Pointers have won all three of their games, and have outscored their opponents in those games combined, 29-1.

However, while he has been pleased with their start, coach Andy Williams stressed the Lady Pointers can still improve in several areas.

"McKennah Sikes has pitched the ball extremely well and we've played pretty consistent defense," Williams said. "However, we haven't hit very well consistently throughout our lineup like we should and will by the end of the season.

"We have the hitters on the roster. We will be a work in progress trying to figure out the right combination for quite some time."

Sikes has been one player who has come through offensively. She has driven in seven runs in three games, six of those coming in Monday's win against Paris, which also included a home run.

The Lady Pointers will compete at the Benton Tournament this weekend.
