The Lady Pointers seized control in the third quarter, pulling ahead by double digits and led comfortably from there.

Siloam Springs led 5-2 after the first quarter, but Van Buren (12-6, 1-1) rallied for a 15-11 lead at halftime.

Kenlee Moore opened the third quarter with a three-pointer to cut the lead to 15-14.

Avery Morey answered with a three-pointer from the top of the key, starting a 10-0 Van Buren run. Morey then grabbed an offensive rebound and scored on a putback.

Fiona Huang nailed a three-pointer in front of the Van Buren bench and Morey scored again on a baseline jumper for a 25-14 lead.

Van Buren led 29-21 after three quarters and led by as many as 13 in the fourth.

Hope Oden led Van Buren with 12 points, while AJ McDonald had 10 and Dorey with all 7 of her points in the third quarter.
