The Van Buren Diamond Dawgs made their 4th appearance in six years to the Semifinals of the 5A State Tourney. In Game 1 of the Tourney they defeated Batesville 10-4 on a big 6th inning where freshman Reid Anderson hit a Grand Slam. In the quarterfinals, Van Buren's Caleb Cole hit a walk off in the 7th to defeat Lakeside 5-4. That same night, the Seniors graduated before the game; valedictorian Tristan Ray led the Pointers all 7 innings to pick up the win striking out 7.
