McKennah Sikes had a big day at the plate and on the mound in the Lady Pointers' win Monday.

Sikes went 3-for-4 and drove in six runs, including a three-RBI home run in the first to put Van Buren (3-0) up, 3-0. Later, Sikes had a two-run single as part of a four-run second and added an RBI single in the fourth.


In addition, Sikes was the winning pitcher, tossing a four-hit shutout. She had eight strikeouts as well.

Caroline Davis was 2-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored, while Hali Bartholomew was 2-for-3 as well for the Lady Pointers.
