The Pointers (9-1) won their first game Monday playing at the Disney Wide World of Sports complex in Florida.

Landrey Wilkerson was 3-for-3 with a triple, an RBI and three runs scored. Seth Humphrey was 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs, and Trevor Johnson was 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and three runs scored.

Evan Jones was the winning pitcher, going the first five innings and giving up two runs on seven hits, striking out seven. Cooper Johns struck out the side in order in the sixth.
