Van Buren tennis standout Braydon Montgomery signed a national letter of intent with Ouachita Baptist University Wednesday morning. He compiled a career singles record of 58-14 at Van Buren and was a first-team all-state and all-conference selection.
“I’m really ready for it,” Montgomery said. “It’s been a goal of mine to play college tennis since I was younger. I’m really excited to go to Ouachita; they have a really good program down there.”
Montgomery said he knew OBU was a “good fit” as soon as he walked on campus.
“I really like the players, and I really like the school. I was drawn to that,” he said.
