Conner Myers was selected as the Van Buren Pointers Player of the Week covering the first 2 weeks of the season.

Averaging 18 points and 7 rebounds during the first 4 games, Conner shot over 55% FG during that span. Myers also scored a season high 24 points during a 76-46 win at Prairie Grove to move Van Buren to a 3-1 record on the season.

The 6'4" Junior is the only returning starter off the Van Buren team from a year ago that finished 3rd in the 5A West. The veteran forward has been a model of consistency on both ends of the floor for the young Pointers and will continue to provide stability as well as statistical production throughout the season.
