The Lady Pointers opened their season with a tough non-conference schedule facing 5 opponents ranked in the top 25.
Last week they faced the #11 seed Bentonville West Wolverines in enemy territory to come out victorious, 3-1! The very next day they took on the #6 team Southside Mavericks for a shorter trip across the bridge and WON in dominating fashion, 3-0!
Last night they welcomed the #22 seed Mansfield Tigers, 2A State Champs, to Clair Bates Arena and walked away with another W, 3-1!
They are right back in action tonight as they travel to the #9 seed Shiloh Christian Saints. With a days rest, they will then travel to #21 seed Farmington to close out the non-conference schedule.

It doesn't get any easier in conference play when they start out with two of the top teams in the State, #4 Greenbrier and #7 Greenwood.
