The Pointer golf team is to a good start with strong showings in some big tourneys early on and defeating Southside and Siloam Springs this week.
They started the season off in Mt. Home at the Big Creek Tourney, where they finished 2nd overall.
On. Aug. 8, they played in the Wildcat Invitational and finished 2nd again by only one stroke.
Aug. 25 in a quad match with Alma, Harrison and Providence Academy they took 1st.
