The Pointer wrestling team made their debut in the newly remodeled Clair Bates Arena as they handed Russellville and Greenwood losses. Van Buren's Jadin Purdy set the tone opening up the matches with a pin over Russellville which led to a 64-18 win over the Cyclones. The Pointers started a little slower vs Greenwood but proved they are the team to beat in the State with a 48-24 win.
