The Lady Pointers won 2 games in that same amount of nights as they traveled to Southside Monday night and picked up a 7-2 victory; then hosted Prairie Grove on Tuesday night for a home opener win. Against Southside the bats were strong but too many times they were hit right at Maverick defenders. Ashlyn Michael got a hold of one for a 3 run blast for her 1st HR of the young season.
In the home game vs Prairie Grove, Riley Lowrey hit a 2 run HR to help give her team a 4-0 win. Emberlin Caldwell was great on the mound and tied a school record 14 strikeouts.
