The Pointers picked up a much needed win on the road at conference undefeated Mt. Home. They took Game 1, 7-2, on a massive outing by Presley Nichols. He pitched a CG with only 4 hits and 15 strikeouts. He also went 2-4 with a HR and 3RBI at the plate.
