The Pointer basketball team moved to 2-0 in conference play with 23 point victory over Greenwood. The Pointers were led by Drew Brasuell's 23 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Jaxon Cazzell and Trenton Cooley also reached double figure with 11 and 10 points respectively; Cooley also grabbed 11 rebounds to finish with a double-double. Weston Wilcox gave some quality minutes off the bench with 8 points and a monster dunk. The highlight of the night though came at the end of the 3rd Q when Cooley launched an 85 foot buzzer beater to give the Pointers a 16 point lead going into the 4th. The heave has created quite the stir making the ESPN SportsCenter Top Ten as the #2 play.
