The Lady Pointers are headed back to the State Tourney after a 3 year lay off. They will play Lake Hamilton on Feb. 27 at 1:00 in Searcy.
The Lady Pointers finished the regular season at 18-12, 6-8, which is their best overall record since the 2017-18 season.
Van Buren closed out the conference season at Russellville last night and couldn't get over the hump after cutting the lead to 5 several times.
Aspen Cone finished with 16 points and 4 rebounds. Vi Johnson had 10 points and 4 assists. Hope Oden with 9 points and 3 boards.
