Congrats to the Lady Pointer Basketball team on their dominance in the McDonald County Mustang Classic. The LP's set a school record with their win in the 1st round with most points scored in a game and largest margin of victory with an 85-13 win. The 2nd round they played a tough Webb City, MO team but came out with a 24 point win. Shiloh Christian upset the home team, McDonald County, in the semifinals to advance to the finals to face Van Buren and the Lady Pointers showed they were the superior team very early finishing the 1st quarter up 20-3. Van Buren struggled offensively the rest of the game but never let the game get too close and sealed the title win 48-29.
