2025 Trenton Cooley has been recognized in the River Valley Democrat-Gazette High 5 Players to Watch list.
Trent is off to a great start this year averaging 16 p / 3 a / 4 steals while shooting 50% EFG. His season high is 24 pts against Glendale(MO) in the Mustang Classic and his career high is 31 pts. vs Greenwood and 9 steals vs Greenbrier in 2024.
Trenton is currently second all-time in steals in Van Buren history and is set to break the record soon. He already holds the single season steal record of 80 set in the 2023-24 season.
Trent is an all-state football performer as well.
