Odom finished with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and a block. That performance helped Van Buren pull away for a 47-21 victory against Siloam Springs in a 5A-West matchup.
"Our motto is we over me, and we are happy," Odom said. "We try to keep that mindset, no matter who we are playing. We are in a tough conference. We know we have to play everybody to the best of our ability in this league."
Van Buren now has won three consecutive games in conference play for the first time since the 2018 season.
"Any win you can get in conference play is so tough," Van Buren first-year Coach Kendall Ruff said. "When you come away with one, you are happy. We got the job done. The key for us is turning people over. We want chaos on offense. I thought Jaci set the tone for us on offense and defense."
The Lady Pointers (17-5, 4-2) also received key efforts from Lillian Gilbert (14 points), A.J. McDonald (6 points with 6 rebounds, 5 steals, 3 assists and 3 blocks) and Aspen Cone (7 steals with 4 points).
Siloam Springs (7-15, 0-6) was guided by Natalie Perez off the bench with eight points and four rebounds. Erika Ellis had five rebounds and four steals.
